The Atlanta Braves and Chicago Cubs are being considered as potential hosts for upcoming All-Star Games. The 2024 All-Star Game is set to take place at the Texas Rangers’ Globe Life Field in Arlington, while the 2026 game will be held at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park to commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
The 2021 All-Star Game was initially awarded to Atlanta’s Truist Park but was later relocated to Denver’s Coors Field due to objections raised against Georgia’s voting laws.
Commissioner Rob Manfred mentioned that Atlanta is being considered as a potential host for the 2025 All-Star Game, but he did not provide further details.
Wrigley Field in Chicago last hosted the All-Star Game in 1990, and Manfred expressed a desire to return to venues that have not hosted the event in a significant amount of time.
As of now, no specific decisions have been made regarding the host cities beyond the announced locations for the next few years.
