The 16th Annual Wright Memorial Hospital Foundation Charity Golf Tournament has been canceled. The event was scheduled to be held at the Riverside Country Club of Trenton September 11th.
Foundation Development Officer David Bain said that “as a health care organization, [the foundation has] to be responsible and ensure [it is] doing all [it] can to protect [the] community from the spread of COVID-19.”
He encourages individuals and businesses that have provided support for the golf tournament in the past to consider supporting other local businesses and charitable causes.
Bain adds that the foundation is “disappointed” to not be able to host the Wright Memorial Hospital Foundation Charity Golf Tournament this year, but the foundation looks forward to continuing it in 2021.
