When it comes to Southeastern Conference recruiting, head coach Jeremy Pruitt of Tennessee is getting the job done in the Class of 2021, with the decorated Volunteers class up to 22 commitments after a fruitful weekend.

On Monday morning, South Paulding (Douglasville, GA) tight end Miles Campbell committed to Tennessee.  The 234 pounder is ranked by 247Sports as a three-star prospect, #20 tight end in the country, and the #478 overall recruit in the U.S.  He is projected as either a tight end or outside linebacker at UT.  He is considered the #2 tight end prospect out of the state of Georgia.  Tennessee now boasts the 2nd-ranked class for ’21 and the top class in the SEC, according to 247.  Campbell chose Tennessee over offers from Wisconsin, Auburn, Florida State, Arkansas, and Georgia Tech.

The Mississippi State Bulldogs, on Monday, added offensive line depth from the junior college ranks, with Jones College sophomore Reed Buys committing to MSU.  Buys will be eligible to play for the Bulldogs this fall.  The native of Vicksburg, Mississippi is 6’5″ 290 pounds, and boosts the Bulldogs 2020 recruiting class to #10 in the SEC, per 247Sports.

After a rally of activity at Missouri, recruiting announcements have slowed in recent days for head coach Eliah Drinkwitz.  However, the Tigers remain in the running for Mississippi prep wide receiver Isaiah Brevard.  The four-star product has whittled his list of schools down to seven finalists, with MU making the cut.  Others hoping for Brevard’s commitment are Texas A&M, Georgia, Baylor, Oregon, Florida State, and Penn State.  Brevard is ranked by 247Sports as the #20 wide receiver nationally in the 2021 class, and the #2 overall recruit out of the state of Mississippi.
