The Kansas City Royals have announced that the first pitch for the game with the Chicago White Sox on Tuesday, September 12th has been moved from 7:15 PM to 12:15 PM.  The change was made to accommodate the rush of traffic anticipated from a U2 concert at neighboring Arrowhead Stadium at 7:30 PM.

Fans, with the time change, will now get the opportunity to vacate the Kauffman Stadium parking lot in time before the concert crowd begins to arrive.

A “T-Shirt Giveaway” planned by the Royals for September 12th will now take place on Tuesday, August 29th, when Kansas City hosts the Tampa Bay Rays at 7:15 PM.  The first 10,000 fans will receive a Brisket-Acho t-shirt.

The game on Tuesday, September 12th will be televised on Fox Sports Kansas City with Royals Live beginning at 11:30 AM, and radio coverage on the Royals Network, including KTTN AM 1600, beginning at 11:30 as well.
