The Tri-County basketball programs played out the 2017-2018 seasons at different spots in their development, but with identical quarterfinal round losses in the first round of districts at Braymer.
With nine wins, the Lady Mustangs showed quick and significant improvement over past years, and with a huge amount of talent returning next year, the future is bright for Head Coach Jeremy Slaughter.
It was more of a rebuilding season for the Tri-County boys and Coach Dillon Lowrey, although not a winless one. With underclassmen “learning the hopes” on the varsity roster, opportunity for improvement in 2018-2019 also is achievable for the Mustangs.
The final coaches shows of the Mustangs basketball season with Coach Slaughter and Coach Lowrey aired on Tuesday, February 20th on KTTN FM 92.3.
