The Tri-County Mustangs have two home doubleheaders this week, hosting the Pattonsburg Panthers on Tuesday night and the Newtown-Harris Tigers on Thursday night. The Lady Mustangs are showing improvement early in the season, while the Mustang boys, youthful in numerous positions on the floor, are struggling early, but getting better by each practice and game. The Lady Mustangs entered the week at 2-1, but a Monday night defeat at Maysville dropped Coach Slaughter’s team to 2-2, with the Tri-County boys, with a victory over Breckenridge a week earlier, sitting at 1-3.

Tri-County’s season continues next week with a home doubleheader with Osborn on Tuesday, December 12th followed by a trip to Mercer for HDC competition with the Cardinals on Thursday, December 14th.
