Trenton High School’s Reece Weldon and Penney High School’s Danica Green shot matching 9-hole scores of 53 on Monday afternoon, tying for medalist honors in the two-team event held in Hamilton.
Penney had just two golfers on the course, as Izzy Potts of the Lady Hornets shot 57. That 57 was matched by Abbye Johnson of THS, with other scores for the Lady Bulldogs sitting at 58 for Seanacie Ireland, 60 for Kinsley Otto, and 61 from Ali Cox.
For the Trenton JV, Morgan Brown shot 60 and Kinze Hanson 62.
