Trenton’s Tolson, Gott earn Class 2 state golf berths with strong district play

Trenton High School’s Kiefer Tolson and Riley Gott have earned spots in the upcoming Class 2 boys golf state tournament, after Tolson shot a 9th place round of 81 and Gott an 83, good for 16th place, at Friday’s Class 2, District 4 tournament at the Hidden Valley Course in Lawson.

South Harrison’s Quinn Taylor, with a fourth-place 78, and Caden Littrell, part of a four-way tie at 83 that included Trenton’s Gott, also advanced to the state meet.
