Trenton’s Henson finishes 22nd, at 106, at Richmond links event

Trenton High School’s Maci Henson, with an 18-hole score of 106, finished in 22nd place to lead three Lady Bulldog golfers on the course at Wednesday afternoon’s Richmond Golf Invitational at the 74-par Shirkey Course in Richmond.  Other Trenton scores from the event were Josie Chumbley at 128 (tied for 60th place) and Mari Atup at 138 (tied for 67th).

Sedalia Smith-Cotton won the 16-school event with a score of 381, with Kearney second at 385, and Marshall third at 416.  Emily Long of Maryville tied for medalist honors with Kiser Pannier of Smith-Cotton, both shooting a nine-over par score of 83 in hot, sunny, and humid conditions in Ray County.

Madi Jessen – East Buchanan – 104 (18th)

Cassie Greene – Lawson – 115 (tied 38th) 

Audrey Elifrits – East Buchanan – 126 (tied 56th)

Natalie Schnetzler – Lawson – 126 (tied 56th)

Bailey Busby – Lawson – 138 (tied 67th)
