The Trenton High School #1 doubles team of Lexi Gott and Kendall Crowley finished in the runner-up position at Wednesday’s Cameron Tennis Tournament, falling in the championship match to Annie Archibald and Emma Murray of Platte County, 6-2.
Trenton’s other doubles entries found varying degrees of success, with Morgan Doland and Alaina Overton in fifth place, courtesy of a 6-3 win over Audrey Phillips and Alexis Hill of Higginsville, and Baley Catron and Emilee Lovell in 4th place, with a loss in the third place match to Aleah Dixon and Maria Molinari of Platte County 6-4.
The doubles team of Leslie Cotiango and Amanda Parrack won their final match of the day 6-1, over Chloe Morris and Mazkenize Herman of St. Joseph Lafayette.
