The Trenton Lady Bulldogs traveled to Princeton on Tuesday night and returned home with a 7-0 victory over the Lady Tigers, in softball action heard on KGOZ 101.7 FM.
The game was scoreless until the top of the 4th inning, when Trenton scored three times to grab the lead. THS added an insurance run in the top of the 5th inning before putting the game away with three runs in the top of the 7th inning.
Junior left-hander Avery Clark threw the complete game shutout, scattering four hits and four walks. Kelsey Goodin went the first four innings for Princeton, with Hannah Meighen pitching the final three innings.
Mirena King was 2-for-4 with a run scored for THS, with Jena Harris and Kenzie Lynch scoring a pair of runs. Madi Moore, Lynch, and Clark all had two hits, as Trenton amassed 11 base knocks in the game.
Grace Kelly had a pair of hits for Princeton, with Emma Walkup and Addy Henke each hitting singles.
