The Chillicothe Lady Hornets blitzed the visiting Trenton Lady Bulldogs in a 25-3 first set win on Monday night, part of a sweep for Chillicothe (25-3, 25-12) at the CHS gymnasium.
Katelyn Parkey played dominating volleyball at the net for Chillicothe, as the senior had 15 kills to go with 3 blocks. Ellie Ross added 12 assists, with Hannah Jones and Maggie Leatherman each contributing four digs for the winning side.
Trenton had three digs and one kill from Karli Provorse, two kills and one ace for Laura Carlson, and two digs from Allena Allen.
In Trenton Middle School volleyball, the Bulldogs “B” team lost to Cameron on Monday night, 25-7, 25-11. The TMS “A” team lost 25-16, 25-11. For the “A” team out of Trenton, Olivia Roberts had four aces, with Evy McCollough adding two kills.
