The Trenton Lady Bulldogs wrapped up regular season tennis action on Tuesday afternoon with a 9-0 win over the Lexington Minutewomen, locking up the #2 seed for the team district tournament, and a first-round bye.
The individual results were every fit as lopsided as the final team score for THS, with Kendall Crowley, Morgan Dolan, and Alaina Overton winning singles matches 8-0, with Lexi Gott victorious 8-1, Mallory Sole 8-1, and Gwyneth Foster 8-2.
In doubles, Dolan and Overton won by forfeit, with Gott teaming with Crowley and Foster with Sole for a pair of 8-1 wins. Trenton will open postseason play at home with a district semifinal on Tuesday, October 8th at 4 o’clock (likely against #3 seed Richmond).
