The Trenton Lady Bulldog tennis team, with strong momentum coming off of Monday afternoon’s 6-3 victory over rival Chillicothe, had another home date on Tuesday, with the Golden Eagles of Bishop LeBlond making the trek to THS.

In dominating fashion, the Trenton girls surged their fall record to 4 wins against zero losses, with a 9-nothing whitewash of the Eagles.  Three singles players for Trenton won by 8-love final scores, with Lauren Dolan beating Liberty Wigton, Samantha Mihalovich downing Bailey Bell, and Maddie Searcy shutting out Alexandrea Kempf.  Claire Utley got a bit of a challenge at #1 singles, eventually downing Brennah Davies 8-3.

LeBlond had a short-handed team, giving Trenton’s Emma Gilham and Latorrie Johnson wins via forfeit.

In doubles, Utley and Dolan beat Davies and Wigton 8-2, while the Trenton teams of Mihalovich and Searcy, along with Gilham and Johnson, won by identical 8-love routs.

Trenton won two JV singles matches to complete the sweep of the Eagles.  Elle Neal beat Victoria Fender 4-1 while Kendall Crowley shutout Sydney Eckhardt 4-love.
