Trenton splits Monday night football games at Princeton

The Trenton Bulldog middle school and junior varsity football teams traveled to Eddie Allen Field in Princeton on Monday night, playing two quarters each against the host Tigers.

Behind 174 yards rushing and three touchdowns (68, 27, and 79 yards) from Jarek Habelitz, Trenton Middle School beat Princeton 20-14.  Princeton opened the scoring on a 14 yard pass in the first quarter, and finished the scoring in the fourth quarter with a 2 yard touchdown run.

Trenton amassed 212 rushing yards in the game, with 38 coming from Sam Gibson.  Coleman Griffin had seven tackles and forced a fumble for the Trenton defense.

In the junior varsity game, the Tigers were able to flip the script against the Bulldogs, taking a 20-12 win.  Princeton is now 2-1 on the 2018 season.
