The Trenton Middle School Bulldogs claimed a 38-32 win over Princeton on Monday night at C.F. Princeton opened the scoring with a 79 yard kickoff return by Tyler Brown, with the extra point failing, leaving the score 6-0.  However, later in the first quarter, Trenton rebounded on a two-yard scoring run by Hughs, tying the score of 6.  Princeton, on a safety with the Tiger defense tackling Trenton in the end zone, and a 55 yard run by Tristian Gardner, led 16-6 after the first quarter.

Trenton dominated the second quarter, surging to the halftime lead of 22-16 on a 22 yard run by Stark and a 40 yard run by Hughs.  Both two-point conversions were successful.

The teams traded third quarter touchdowns, with a 74 yard kickoff return by Hughs, and the conversion by Stark giving the Bulldogs a 30-16 advantage.  The Tigers closed the lead to one score with a 5 yard Brown run, and two-point conversion by Girdner.

A 45 yard touchdown run by Hughs of TMS, and a 55 yard scoring pass for Princeton in the fourth quarter completed the scoring.
