The Chillicothe Lady Hornets got the better of the Trenton Lady Bulldogs in Monday night varsity volleyball action, wining 25-12, 25-12, 25-19. For THS, Abby Simpson had five kills and six digs, with Emma Raedelli eight assists, Nautica Dowling a pair of aces, and Jacole Simpson and Lilli Woods six digs each.
Trenton head coach Brad Ewald called the match a “not very good night for volleyball for the Bulldogs”, adding that “he saw spurts of good things but the girls struggled in putting a solid performance together”. Looking toward a Tuesday night test with Lathrop, Ewald added he “hopes the Bulldogs shake off the loss and do better” against the Mules.
The Trenton C team beat Chillicothe by a final of 13-25, 25-21, 25-13, with the Lady Hornets dominating the JV contest, winning 25-7, 25-6.
