Harding University, an NCAA Division Two school in Searcy, Arkansas (approximately 50 miles northeast of Little Rock) has announced the signing of North Central Missouri College transfer Madison “Madi” Trump.  Trump, a Trenton native and 2014 graduate of Trenton High School, will have two years of eligibility to play with the Harding Bisons softball program.

Trump signed with North Central Missouri College in her senior year at THS, and quickly expanded on the offensive power that began to blossom towards the end of her senior year at Trenton.  In her two years at NCMC, Trump set numerous school records and was a dynamo in the middle of the Lady Pirates offense.  In her sophomore season, Trump hit .507 with 15 home runs and 28 doubles, amassing 70 hits in only 138 at bats.

Harding is coming off a 2016 season that saw a record of 37-24 overall, and 26-18 in conference play.
