The Trenton Kids Wrestling Club participated in two tournaments over the weekend, spending Friday night at the Lathrop Novice Tournament, and Saturday at the Titan Open at Lee’s Summit West.
From Lathrop, Trenton won two first place honors, as Leon McPherson and Brayden Bell were first at 10 and under. In second place for the TKWC were Blake Gannon (6 and under) and Caleb Dixon (8 and under). Third place went to Jayden Gannon at 8 and under.
Fourth place finishes from Lathrop were earned by Braylee Barron and Kynsen Bain (6 and under), Archer Gannon and Carson Kasinger (8 and under), and Jayla Bell (10 and under).
From Lee’s Summit West, Hunter McAtee and Sam Gibson took first place for Trenton, both in the 12 and under age group. Kaden Owen was fourth place at 14 and under, with Caleb Johnson finishing fifth at 14 and under, and Brayden Hughs in sixth place at 12 and under.
