Trenton Kids Wrestlers send seven to state tournament

Seven members of the Trenton Kids Wrestling Club have advanced to the state tournament in St. Louis the weekend of March 24th-26th, with two winning championships at the regional tournament this past Saturday.

Taking first place hardware from regionals were Tyler Siemer (12 and under / 135 pounds) and Bo Meeker (12 and under / 285 pounds).  Others advancing to state are second place finishers Chase Foster (8 and under / 100 pounds) and Kaden Owen (12 and under / 130 pounds), third place finishers Sam Gibson (12 and under / 115 pounds) and Caleb Johnson (12 and under / 150 pounds), along with Jackson Huber, who finished fourth at 8 and under, 90 pounds.

Three wrestlers placed for Trenton, but were unable to advance to state, as Brayden Hughs and Hunter McAtee finished fifth, and Jesse Huber in sixth place in their age and weight classes.
