Trenton Kids Wrestlers claim three first-place finishes at Excelsior Springs

The Trenton Kids Wrestling Club participated in the Excelsior Springs Youth Classic over the weekend, with three Trenton youngsters taking first place honors in their age and weight class.

Chase Foster was first in the 8 and under 100 pound class, with Hunter McAtee first in the 12 and under, 80 pound class, and Bo Meeker on top of the 12 and under heavyweight division.

Finishing runner-up from the TKWC were Bryar Foster (6 and under / 50 pounds), Brayden Hughs (10 and under / 70 pounds), and Sam Gibson (12 and under / 115 pounds).

Taking fourth place finishes for Trenton were Ryker Murphy, Tanner Phipps, and Hayleigh Carriker.

Two wrestlers also participated in the Smithville Warrior Open on Saturday, with Hunter McAtee third at 12 and under, 80 pounds, and Kaden Owen fourth in the 12 and under, 135 pound class.
