Trenton JV softball improves to 4-0, defeating Gallatin 12-0

The Trenton High School Junior Varsity went to 4-0 on the season Tuesday night, defeating the Lady Bulldogs of Gallatin 12-0. 

Leading the offensive charge for Trenton was Sara Spencer, with a 3-for-3, 3 RBI, three run scored night.  Sarah Jordan walked twice and added a base hit in three at-bats, driving in 3 runs.  Jaycie Griffin had a hit, base on balls, and two RBI’s, while Maci Moore was 1-for-1 with a walk and two RBI’s.
In the circle, sophomore McKayla Blackburn went five innings for the Trenton Lady Bulldogs, three-hitting Gallatin in shutout fashion while striking out eight.
Trenton’s JV looks to stay on their winning ways on Thursday night, hosting the South Harrison Lady Bulldogs.  First pitch follows the 5:30 varsity contest from Mark Griffin Memorial Field, adjacent to Trenton High School.
