The Trenton Bulldogs, behind 112 yards rushing from Matthew Bowden and 78 rushing yards from Cooper Houser, took a 26-8 junior varsity football win over Milan on Monday night.
Bowden had two touchdowns and Houser two touchdowns for Trenton, with Michael Baker adding 53 rushing yards, and Remi Olmstead three catches for 55 yards.
Olmstead led the THS defense with eight tackles and a forced fumble, with Bowden adding seven tackles, Camden Skipper and Brayden Holtzclaw six each, and Houser five tackles and a recovered fumble.
The Bulldogs defense, led by coach Pake Croy, held Milan’s offense to less than 100 yards on the night. Aiden Kempton and Jaysar Simpson were highlighted by the coaching staff for their blocking work at the offensive guard positions throughout the night.
