The Trenton Lady Bulldogs were among 19 teams participating in Wednesday’s Lawson Tournament, finishing 7th in the event with a team score of 448. That total was 11 strokes behind sixth place Lawson’s 437. Smithville won the team tournament at 350, followed by Pleasant Hill’s runner-up score of 376. South Harrison was third, with a team tally at 384. Cameron’s 422 was good for fourth place.
Individually, Ava Rogers of Pleasant Hill edged out Abby Owens of South Harrison for the title, with Rogers shooting 81 and Owens 82. There was a three-way tie for third place, with Campbell Gregory (Pleasant Hill) even at 87 with Smithville’s Cali Hatcher and Julianna Walker. South Harrison’s Chloe Hodge, with a round of 99, was tenth.
