The Trenton Lady Bulldogs claimed a 25-12, 25-17 win over the visiting Brookfield Lady ‘Dogs on Monday night, taking a volleyball sweep in the Trenton High School gymnasium.
Olivia Roberts and Libby Fewins each had three aces and a pair of kills to lead the THS varsity, with Evy McCullough contributing two blocks and a kill, Allena Allen with a kill, Natalie Ricker with a kill, and Ava Simpson with an ace.
Trenton won the JV matchup 25-17, 27-25. Faith Baker had four aces and a kill for Trenton, with Makenzee Epperson having a two ace, two kill night. Ally Yoder had two aces and Lilly Berti two aces and a kill.
The C team match went to Brookfield by a final score of 22-25, 25-16, 15-12. For Trenton, Jamie Burkeybile had three aces, Zoie McGowan two aces, Sarah Washburn two aces and a kill, Haley Shultz two aces and a kill, and Tierney Doolittle with an ace.
