The Trenton Boxing Club sent six members to Topeka, Kansas over the weekend to compete in the Missouri Valley Junior Olympic box-offs. Four youngsters came back with a Missouri Valley championship and will advance to regional competition in St . Louis on Friday and Saturday, May 12th and 13th.
Winning their divisions were 8-year old Aryn Pajak in the boys 8-9 year old, 65 pound division, Austin Brown in the boys 10-11 year old, 115 pound division, Faith Baker in the girls 12-13 year old, 138 pound division, and Owen Brown winning the boys 13-14, 138 pound division.
Losing tough fights were Tatiana Kelsey in the girls 10-11 year old, 95 pound division and Joey Lynch in the boys 13-14, 114 pound division.
Trenton boxers will next be in action on Saturday, April 29th in Lawton, Oklahoma.
