Trenton boasts 19 on roster, as wrestling season approaches December 1st

Trenton High School’s wrestling program, led by Head Coach Charlie Bacon, is hopeful of making significant moves up the area standings, with goals of a Grand River Conference title, district, and state success for a group that has 19 student-athletes.  The Bulldogs are preparing for their season opener, a quadrangular at Cameron High School against the Cameron Dragons, Albany Warriors, and Mid-Buchanan Dragons on Thursday, December 1st.

Coach Bacon, in an interview with KTTN Sports Director Tom Johnson, spoke about the excitement he has for the approaching season:

Trenton High School’s first official GRC sports event was last year, when the Bulldogs finished fourth at the Grand River Conference wrestling meet, hosted by Polo High School.  The 2017 GRC tournament will be hosted by THS:
