Blue Valley North High School (Overland Park, KS) junior Dasan McCullough, ranked by both Rivals and 247Sports as the top high school football player from the Sunflower State, has chosen the Ohio State Buckeyes for his collegiate home.

McCullough, envisioned as a safety-cornerback combo at the Big 10 level, is considered a four-star recruit, choosing Ohio State over offers from Florida, Florida State, Nebraska, Texas, LSU, Clemson, Oklahoma, USC, and Wisconsin.  ESPN ranks McCullough number 67 in the country in the Class of 2022.

The combination of Ohio State’s traditional success and family roots in Ohio played a factor in the recruitment.  McCullough’s parents are from Ohio, and before moving to the Kansas City area, Dasan had grown up in Cincinnati.
