The Trenton Middle School girls grabbed 141 points to win the team title and Thursday’s six-team Trenton Middle School Quad at C.F. Russell Stadium. Princeton was 2nd with 116 points, followed by Laredo’s 68 1/2. The Hamilton Middle School boys won the team chase with 145 points, with Trenton a close second at 131, and Gallatin in third place at 118.
For the TMS girls, the 4 by 100 relay team of Savannah Triplet, Mallory Sole, Victoria Swank, and Megan Spencer claimed first, along with the 4 by 400 team of Triplet, Summer Martin, Spencer, and Gracyn Rongey.
Finishing second for the Trenton girls were Triplet in the high jump, Martin in the pole vault, Shay Westerhof in the 200 and 100 meter dashes, Kammi Phillips in the discus, Rongey in the triple jump, 1600 meters, and 800 meters, and Faith Baker in the 100 hurdles.
Third place finishes for TMS came from Triplet in the 100 hurdles, Phillips in the shot put, Morgan King in the discus, Maci Lynch in the 800 meters, and third place for the 4 by 100 relay team.
