Pregame activities for football games this fall at the University of Missouri this fall should be plentiful, as the university has announced a return of Tiger Town, located at two specific locations to the east of Memorial Stadium. Opening three hours prior to Saturday’s home kickoffs, Tiger Town will feature entertainment options for fans of all ages.
For the more “adult” based crowd, select food trucks and beer (for those 21 and older) will be available on the west lawn of the Hearnes Center, with a Bud Light “Build-A-Bar”, plus DJ and yard games, and television’s on site featuring the biggest games being played across the country.
For the kids, a “Kid’s Zone”, presented by MU Health Care, will be set up at the southeast corner of Stadium Boulevard and Mick Deaver Drive. Inflatables, face painters, and other activities of a “kid friendly” variety will be offered, in addition to gameday apparel and novelty items.
The season opener for the Mizzou football team will be 3 o’clock on Saturday, September 4th against the Central Michigan Chippewas. Tiger Town opens at 12 noon.
