In addition to the All-Star Game, T-Mobile Park will also host the MLB Home Run Derby on July 10, the night before the All-Star Game. This year’s All-Star Weekend will also feature the debut of the Swingman Classic HBCU All-Star Game, played on Friday at T-Mobile Park.

Participants in the Celebrity Softball Game will include NBA stars Donovan Mitchell and Zach LaVine, retired MLB stars Adam Jones, Félix Hernández, Ryan Howard, and Mike Cameron, Real Madrid soccer player Rodrygo, Olympic snowboard gold medalist Chloe Kim, and softball legend Jennie Finch.

The increased demand for tickets to the MLB All-Star Game reflects a broader trend of increased attendance across the league this season, which is the first to feature a pitch clock aimed at reducing game times. MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred has stated that the league is projecting a 6% to 8% increase in full-season attendance compared to the 2022 season.
