The Kirksville Lady Tigers will welcome the Trenton Lady Bulldogs and Clark County Lady Indians to the William Matthew Middle School gymnasium on Saturday, for a three-school jamboree in preparation for the 2016-2017 basketball season.
The jamboree was moved to the middle school gym, with the Kirksville High School gymnasium being used for the funeral of fallen soldier Matthew Lewellen.
Basketball will start at 1 o’clock, with Kirksville playing Clark County. Trenton (wearing its home uniforms) will play Clark County in the middle scrimmage, followed by the Lady Bulldogs (switching to the away uniforms) playing Kirksville.
Gates open at 12 noon for the 1 o’clock tip-off. Fans should be aware that due to the funeral next door, parking will be very tight on Saturday. Admission will be $3.00 for adults and $2.00 for students.
Trenton opens the girl’s basketball season on Tuesday night, hosting the East Buchanan Lady Bulldogs at 6 o’clock.
