Major League Soccer announced today a new time for Sporting Kansas City’s regular season away match at Austin FC on Saturday. The Western Conference match-up, originally scheduled for 7:30 p.m. CT at Q2 Stadium, has been moved one hour later and is now scheduled for 8:30 p.m. CT due to forecasted high temperatures in Austin, Texas. Saturday’s match will be free to watch on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.
Sporting Kansas City earned a 4-1 victory over Austin FC on June 10 as Mexican striker Alan Pulido provided two goals and an assist. Austin FC are unbeaten since with a 3-0-1 record and the club is led by a pair of Sporting Legends with head coach Josh Wolff, who played seven seasons in Kansas City, and assistant coach Davy Arnaud, who played 10 seasons in Kansas City, on the technical staff.
