The high school football media poll heading into the second week of the regular season has been announced, with East Buchanan, coming off of a dominant victory at South Harrison last week, ranked #8 in Class 1, with a trip to Trenton’s C.F. Russell Stadium to play the Bulldogs on Friday night (KGOZ FM 101.7). Penney High School of Hamilton is ranked #6, and Marceline receiving nine votes and GRC pre-season favorite Gallatin three votes in the Class 1 poll. Gallatin will play at Penney this week in a highly-anticipated matchup between the long-time “Highway 13” rivals.
