The Stanberry Lady Bulldogs, with a team score of 390, won the team championship at Monday’s Grand River Conference golf tournament, played at the Cameron Veterans Memorial Golf Club. Gallatin, with a score of 437, was second, with the Trenton Lady Bulldogs shooting 457 for third place. The individual championship was decided by one stroke, with Stanberry’s Allison Marticke shooting 84 to win the title over Trenton’s Werthen Gass, who shot 85 on the 18-hole course. For Gallatin, Ally Johnson shot 98 for 6th place and Jacklyn Maize 107 for 10th place. For Trenton, Maci Henson’s 102 was good for 7th place, with Oakley Madden, at 107, finishing in 9th place.

The Maryville Lady Spoofhounds won the MEC golf championship on Monday in St. Joseph, shooting 401. Chillicothe was second at 428 with Cameron third. Chillicothe’s top score was 99 from Hallie Jones, good for fourth place. Maddie Lamp shot 106 for 10th place for the Lady Hornets.
