Sporting Kansas City met the New York City Football Club (NYCFC) in a Major League Soccer battle on Saturday night at Citi Field, with the clubs battling to a 0-0 draw.
NYCFC (4-3-2) drove 11 shots toward Kansas City keeper Tim Melia in the course of the match, with two of the attempts reaching the goal. Meanwhile, Sporting managed only six shot attempts, with three reaching goal, all saved by Sean Johnson.
Sporting KC (2-6-3) will travel to Portland, Oregon this Saturday (May 14th) to play the Timbers, with NYCFC hosting the Columbus Crew on the same day.
