Two Major League Soccer teams on the outside of the Western Conference playoff race dueled on Saturday night in Houston, where Sporting Kansas City and the Houston Dynamo battled to a scoreless draw.
Sporting’s record is now 8-15-7, with Houston at 8-16-6. Kansas City outshot the Dynamo 20-11, with Steve Clark making six saves for Houston and John Pulskamp three for Sporting.
Kansas City will host D.C. United on Tuesday night, with Houston hosting New England on Tuesday.
