The softball program at South Harrison came into the weekend with a sense of disappointment, with a one-run loss to Gallatin keeping the champions of the Grand River Conference’s Eastern Division from a perfect 7-0 run through divisional play. However, the tide has turned quickly for the Lady Bulldogs, with a championship on Saturday in Trenton in the seven-team Nan Carter Tournament, and a 10-0 win on Monday night over the Stanberry Lady Bulldogs.
South Harrison, ranked #6 in the latest MHSFCA Class 2 state poll, are hoping to win the Grand River Conference softball championship this Thursday night, hosting GRC West champion North Andrew in the 2021 GRC championship game at 5:30.
