South Harrison took football victories at the middle school and the junior varsity level against GRC rival Trenton on Monday night, finishing off a successful head-to-head weekend that included Friday night’s 30-13 varsity win at Trenton High School.
On Monday night in Bethany, South Harrison Middle School won the opener of the doubleheader 14-12, finishing Trenton’s season at 4-2. For TMS, Gabe Stark had scoring runs of 7 and 55 yards, and Trenton led 12-0 going into the final quarter, but a pair of SHMS scoring passes, including a 25 yard strike on the final play of the game, resulted in the winning points.
The junior varsity game saw South Harrison spin a 12-0 win, dropping the Trenton JV to 1-4 on the season.
