The Lathrop Lady Mules got the jump on a Trenton side smarting from a defeat 24 hours earlier against rival Chillicothe, with Lathrop, on Tuesday night, grabbing the 25-17 set one win against the host Bulldogs.  While set two was tighter, Trenton was unable to sent the match to a deciding third win, with Lathrop escaping with the 25-17, 26-24 win.

Trenton’s offense was led by Evy McCullough, with three aces, a kill and a block.  Allena Allen had two aces and a dig, while Kenzie Yuille had three digs, Natalie Ricker two digs, and Olivia Robets two aces.  Trenton has a small break in the schedule coming off of Lathrop, with a trip to Lexington next up on Monday, October 14th before LeBlond visits THS the following night.

The Tuesday night news was better for the Trenton JV, with a 25-20, 25-20 win over Lathrop.  Makenzee Epperson had five aces and three kills, Lilly Berti a pair of kills, and Faith Baker two aces for THS.
