The Trenton R-IX School District has announced that the gate for the Friday, September 8th football game versus Princeton will be donated to the Hurricane Harvey relief efforts in Houston, Texas.
GRC and Trenton R-IX passes will be accepted, however, anyone with a pass can choose to donate to the fundraising effort.
With the Trenton district noting how the city of Houston served as “outstanding hosts to the Trenton Golden Marching Bulldog Band last fall” when THS students participated in the H.E.B. Thanksgiving Day Parade, the invitation is going out to the Friday night football fans to return the favor to the citizens of Houston with this donation.
The gates will open at C.F. Russell Stadium at 5:30, on Friday, September 8. Kickoff will be at 7:00. The game can be heard live on Hot Country Z 101.7.
