The Winston Redbirds rode a combined 32 point from the Lewis brothers to a 26th victory on the season, beating Southwest Livingston 67-34 in the semifinals of Class 1, District 13 at Orrick High School.
Jacob Lewis scored 19 points with older brother Craig scoring 13 for the ‘Birds, while Cy Uthe added 12. Â For Southwest, freshman center Mack Anderson had a game-high 21 points.
Winston will play in the District 13 championship game against the Braymer Bobcats, a 57-37 semifinal winner over Hardin-Central. Â The Redbirds/Bobcats showdown will be played at 1 o’clock on Saturday afternoon. Â
The Class 1, District 13 girls championship game will be played on Friday night in Orrick, as #1 seed Orrick hosts the #2 seed Southwest Livingston Lady Wildcats.
