In a commanding performance, the 20th-ranked North Central Missouri College (NCMC) showcased their dominance by securing a convincing 107-87 victory over Allen County Community College on Saturday. This triumph marked the Pirates’ last game of the first semester, carrying a strong 10-4 record into the break.
Isaiah Reams played a pivotal role in leading NCMC’s charge, displaying an extraordinary showcase of scoring prowess with an impressive 30 points. Reams exhibited outstanding accuracy, shooting an impressive 11-of-14 from the field, and showcased versatility by securing an impressive 10 rebounds, contributing significantly to his team’s dominant rebounding performance. The Pirates outrebounded Allen County 52-20.
Tyler King also delivered a standout performance, contributing 30 points of his own. King showcased scoring versatility, going 13-of-27 from the field and displaying prowess beyond the arc with 3 successful three-point attempts. He also contributed 8 rebounds to the team’s total.
Giovanni Mack contributed to the team’s success with an all-around performance, tallying 8 points and orchestrating the offense with 9 assists. Mack’s ability to distribute the ball effectively played a crucial role in maintaining the team’s fluid offensive rhythm.
Off the bench, Jon Carroll emerged as a valuable contributor, posting 16 points. Carroll demonstrated efficiency from the field, shooting a perfect 6-of-6 and converting all his free throw attempts.
As a team, NCMC shot an impressive 55.8% from the field, showcasing remarkable offensive efficiency. This, coupled with a solid defensive effort, allowed them to secure a substantial lead and maintain control throughout the game, ultimately securing a dominant victory over the Red Devils.
