The Arkansas Razorbacks, coming off back-to-back appearances in the Elite 8, will be among eight teams in the field for the 2022 Maui Invitational. Arkansas will join Arizona and Texas Tech as teams in the field that reached the “Sweet 16” in the 2021 NCAA Tournament.
The ‘Hogs will play the ACC’s Louisville Cardinals in the quarterfinal round, with other matchups featuring Arizona against future Big 12 squad Cincinnati, Texas Tech against the Big East’s Creighton Blue Jays, and San Diego State playing the Ohio State Buckeyes.
The 2022 Maui tournament is head back to the Hawaiian Islands after two straight tournaments elsewhere, with the 2020 event in Asheville, North Carolina and the 2021 classic in Las Vegas due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The 2022 tournament will be played from November 21st through the 23rd at the Lahaina Civic Center.
