Princeton High School junior Addy Henke was one of three unanimous selections to the 2023 Grand River Conference West first-team, released earlier this week. Henke was a unanimous pick, in addition to North Andrew sophomore Teigan Miller and Worth County senior Brooklyn Richardson.
Others on the first-team are North Andrew’s Kinzie Wilmes and Katryna Warren, Pattonsburg junior Katelyn Jones, Worth County senior Kynah Steele, Stanberry senior Amelia Wallace, King City junior Wylie McKinnon, and Albany seniors Abigail Troncin and Addisyn Crawford.
Second team selections are North Andrew’s Piper Cook and Gracie Wilmes, Pattonsburg’s Shealyn Pliley, North Harrison’s Lani Briggs, Worth County’s Autumn Cousatte and Kristen Tracy, King City’s Kaylee Roberts, the Princeton tandem of Grace Kelly and Emma Walkup, and Albany’s Makena Moffat.
Five young ladies were named GRW honorable mention, with North Andrew’s Kelsey Rathbun joined by Pattonsburg’s Marisssa Uthe, North Harrison’s Erica Gerken, Stanberry’s Katlyn James, and King City’s Carleen Gilbert.
Princeton had five players named All-District postseason honors, with pitcher Kelsey Goodin, outfielder Grace Kelly, and infielder Addy Henke named first-teamers, infielder Faith Siemer and catcher Emma Walkup were named second-team selections.
