The sixth annual Bill Hill Memorial Softball Tournament will be contested in Albany on Saturday, with seven of the eight schools in the field representing the Grand River Conference.  The only non-GRC team is the HDC powerhouse from North Harrison, as the Lady Shamrocks have the #1 seed, and a quarterfinal game with North Andrew on Saturday morning at 10:15.

The other 10:15 contest brings together #2 seed Stanberry, considered by many to be the preseason favorite in the GRC West, taking on the Princeton Lady Tigers.  Gallatin and Worth County are on the same side of the bracket as Stanberry and Princeton, as Gallatin has the #3 seed, and will battle Worth County at 8:30 on Saturday morning.

On the top half of the bracket is the #4 against #5 game, as King City and Albany renew their long-standing rivalry in an early GRC Western Division preview.

While the quarterfinal games are staggered, games in the later rounds will not be.  Consolation semifinals are at 12 noon, with the championship semifinals at 1:45.  The consolation final and 7th place game will go at 3:30, with the 3rd place and championship games at 5:15.

Admission, good for all day, will be $4.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
