With a positive COVID-19 case in the Trenton football program cancelling the Bulldogs varsity and junior varsity games at Princeton, bragging rights between the rivals came down to a middle school matchup on Monday night, with the Tigers taking the 28-0 win at Eddie Allen Field.
Princeton claimed the 8-0 lead in the first quarter, with an 18 yard scoring run followed by the successful two-point conversion. With the Bulldogs offense struggling to get on the board, Princeton added insurance in the third quarter, with a 22 yard touchdown run (PAT missed) and a 38 yard scoring scamper (with the 2 point play good).
Princeton finished the scoring in the fourth quarter on a 12 yard touchdown run. The two-point conversion failed, leaving the final score 28-0 Tigers.
