The Princeton Tigers hosted the Mercer Cardinals in the annual Mercer County rivalry games on Friday night, while the Milan Wildcats, just one week after traveling to Schuyler County High School for the Tri-Rivers Classic, headed back to Queen City for a doubleheader with the Rams on Friday.
Next week, Grand River Conference play begins, with Princeton hosting Trenton on Tuesday (on 101.7 FM) and traveling to Gallatin on Friday (on 92.3 FM). Milan hits the road for doubleheader action on Tuesday (at Polo) and Friday (at Maysville).
Meanwhile, the North Central Missouri College men have hit their winter break, falling by 30 points on Wednesday night (104-74) to Johnson County Community College.
