The Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) sponsored state high school softball tournament will begin on Wednesday at a variety of locations across the state. However, due to recent persistent and heavy rainfall, getting outdoor fields into playing shape over the next 24 to 48 hours will be a challenge for area districts.
