The Grand River Conference champion Polo Lady Panthers improved to 25-0 on the season, cruising to a 16-3 victory at King City on Saturday afternoon in a Class 1 quarterfinal contest.

Polo hammered the Lady Wildkats early, scoring ten runs in the first-inning to take a dominant lead.  The Panthers added single tallies in the second and third innings, and closed the game with four runs in the sixth inning.  The game ended after five innings due to the ten-run rule.
